As part of the launch of the “Entrepreneurial Poland” programme, we talk to Dr. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz of Adamed about internationalisation — Polish companies entering foreign markets. This is one of the four pillars on which Think Tank The Company bases its activities.
Today only 4–5% of Polish companies export, and 1% of companies account for half of Poland's exports. According to Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, companies that want to be stable and resilient to geopolitical turbulence must go beyond the Polish market of 38 million people and look for customers in Europe and Asia. It will be easier for them if a strong “Made in Poland” brand is recognisable abroad.
The conversation also features a figure few people know: Polish entrepreneurs generate 75% of GDP. And yet the image of the entrepreneur in Poland is still weak, which is why Think Tank The Company wants to build the brand of the Polish entrepreneur both at home and in foreign markets.
Watch the full conversation and find out what Polish companies need to enter foreign markets effectively.
